Police were searching for the driver of the all-terrain vehicle Saturday night.
The incident took place in Deborah Lynn Heights in Paradise just before 8pm when the driver lost control of the ATV and then it overturned on a driveway.
A witness told Telegram that the driver abandoned the machine shortly after and was taken away in a car from the scene.
The Royal Newfoundland Constable arrived shortly after and began an investigation into the crash and tried to locate the driver.
Significant damage was done to the ATV.
