Bonjour! Today we did a serious analysis of Jamie Oliver’s Twitter activity. Let’s jump right into it. First, the simple stuff: as of 2019-11-16, Jamie Oliver (@jamieoliver) has 6710103 Twitter followers, is following 4730 people, has tweeted 36632 times, has liked 39385 tweets, has uploaded 8562 photos and videos and has been on Twitter since January 2009.
Going from the top of the page to the bottom, their latest tweet, at the time of writing, has 7 replies, 10 retweets and 43 likes, their second latest tweet has 14 replies, 13 reweets and 130 likes, their third latest tweet has 3 replies, 2 retweets and 31 likes, their fourth latest tweet has 0 replies, 9 retweets and 55 likes and their fifth latest tweet has 11 replies, 3 retweets and 30 likes. (We could keep going, but we think you get the idea… 😛)
Going through Jamie Oliver’s last couple-dozen tweets (and retweets), the one we consider the most popular, having incited a very nice 51 direct replies at the time of writing, is this:
That really seems to have caused quite a lot of different comments, having also had 31 retweets and 243 likes.
And what about Jamie Oliver’s least popular tweet in the recent past (again, including retweets)? We say it’s this one:
That only had 0 direct replies, 9 retweets and 55 likes.
We did a ton of digging into Jamie Oliver’s Twitter activity, looking through what people are saying in response to them, their likes/retweet numbers compared to what they were before, the amount of positive/negative responses and so on. We won’t go into that any more, so our conclusion is this: we believe the online sentiment for Jamie Oliver on Twitter right now is good.
That’s it for now. Thanks for coming, and write a comment if you agree or disagree with me. However, we won’t publish anything overly rude.
Apart from science reporting I also occasionally cover celebrity/entertainment news.
