Hello! Today we did a major analysis of Sam Smith’s Twitter activity. Let’s dive in. First, the simple stuff: as of 2019-11-10, Sam Smith (@samsmith) has 8143915 Twitter followers, is following 1306 people, has tweeted 13793 times, has liked 35837 tweets, has uploaded 1461 photos and videos and has been on Twitter since January 2012.
Going from the top of the page to the bottom, their latest tweet, at the time of writing, has 199 replies, 920 retweets and 14,518 likes, their second latest tweet has 166 replies, 723 reweets and 15,979 likes, their third latest tweet has 29 replies, 173 retweets and 1,552 likes, their fourth latest tweet has 125 replies, 2,086 retweets and 13,737 likes and their fifth latest tweet has 159 replies, 356 retweets and 6,087 likes. That gives you an idea of how much activity they usually get.
Going through Sam Smith’s last couple pages of tweets (plus retweets), the one we consider the most popular, having caused a very nice 482 direct replies at the time of writing, is this:
That really seems to have caused quite a lot of different comments, having also had 1785 retweets and 18661 likes.
What about Sam Smith’s least popular tweet as of late (again, including retweets)? We say it’s this one:
That only had 23 direct replies, 431 retweets and 3682 likes.
We did a huge amount of of digging into Sam Smith’s Twitter activity, looking through what people were saying in response to them, their likes/retweet numbers compared to the past, the amount of positive/negative responses and so on. We won’t go into that any more, so our conclusion is this: we believe the online sentiment for Sam Smith on Twitter right now is just fine – no major issues.
