Bonjour! Today we did a very comprehensive analysis of Pope Francis’s Twitter activity. Let’s jump right into it. These are the main things: as of 2019-11-10, Pope Francis (@Pontifex) has 18136947 Twitter followers, is following 8 people, has tweeted 2189 times, has liked 0 tweets, has uploaded 25 photos and videos and has been on Twitter since February 2012.
Going from the top of the page to the bottom, their latest tweet, at the time of writing, has 630 replies, 3,817 retweets and 19,921 likes, their second latest tweet has 563 replies, 5,040 reweets and 24,874 likes, their third latest tweet has 549 replies, 4,020 retweets and 21,768 likes, their fourth latest tweet has 657 replies, 4,212 retweets and 23,931 likes and their fifth latest tweet has 753 replies, 5,037 retweets and 28,702 likes. We did a ton of digging into Pope Francis’s Twitter activity, looking through what people were saying in response to them, their likes/retweet numbers compared to before, the amount of positive/negative responses and more. We won’t bore you with the details, so our conclusion is this: we say the online sentiment for Pope Francis on Twitter right now is great – no major issues.
