Hola! Today we did a serious analysis of Green Day’s Twitter activity. So let’s do it. First, the simple stuff: as of 2019-09-28, Green Day (@GreenDay) has 5074086 Twitter followers, is following 187 people, has tweeted 2113 times, has liked 411 tweets, has uploaded 375 photos and videos and has been on Twitter since August 2009.
Going from the top of the page to the bottom, their latest tweet, at the time of writing, has 15 replies, 198 retweets and 1,820 likes, their second latest tweet has 17 replies, 188 reweets and 1,694 likes, their third latest tweet has 40 replies, 78 retweets and 1,300 likes, their fourth latest tweet has 112 replies, 240 retweets and 1,680 likes and their fifth latest tweet has 22 replies, 125 retweets and 1,634 likes. (We could keep going, but we think you get the idea… 😛)
Going through Green Day’s last couple-dozen tweets (including retweets, BTW), the one we consider the most popular, having generated a very respectable 301 direct replies at the time of writing, is this:
That really seems to have caused quite a lot of discussion, having also had 5200 retweets and 17126 likes.
What about Green Day’s least popular tweet as of late (again, including retweets)? We reckon it’s this one:
That only had 5 direct replies, 43 retweets and 786 likes.
We did a ton of digging into Green Day’s Twitter activity, looking through what people were saying in response to them, their likes/retweet numbers compared to the past, the amount of positive/negative responses and more. We won’t drone on and on about the numbers, so our conclusion is this: we believe the online sentiment for Green Day on Twitter right now is perfectly fine.
That’s it for now. Thanks for reading, and write a comment if you disagree or agree with me. Just make sure to keep it civil.
