The Vamps & Twitter – What On Earth? ( 2019-09-28)

Hello! Today we did a serious analysis of The Vamps’s Twitter activity. Let’s jump right into it. The main metrics are as follows – as of 2019-09-28, The Vamps (@TheVampsband) has 4050370 Twitter followers, is following 48872 people, has tweeted 22770 times, has liked 9372 tweets, has uploaded 4757 photos and videos and has been on Twitter since June 2012.

Going from top to bottom, their latest tweet, at the time of writing, has 440 replies, 959 retweets and 5,960 likes, their second latest tweet has 184 replies, 422 reweets and 3,272 likes, their third latest tweet has 420 replies, 1,272 retweets and 7,464 likes, their fourth latest tweet has 104 replies, 264 retweets and 2,422 likes and their fifth latest tweet has 280 replies, 399 retweets and 3,265 likes. That gives you an idea of how much activity they usually get.


Going through The Vamps’s last couple pages of tweets (including retweets), the one we consider the most popular, having caused a very respectable 464 direct replies at the time of writing, is this:

That really seems to have caused quite a ruckus, having also had 520 retweets and 4202 likes.


And what about The Vamps’s least popular tweet in the recent past (again, including retweets)? We believe it’s this one:

That only had 14 direct replies, 168 retweets and 1179 likes.


We did a ton of digging into The Vamps’s Twitter activity, looking through what people were saying in response to them, their likes/retweet numbers compared to the past, the amount of positive/negative responses and so on. We won’t go into that any more, so our verdict is this: we say the online sentiment for The Vamps on Twitter right now is just OK.
