Biden leads in Georgia

Joe Biden beat President Trump in Georgia Overnight as the vote count continued there and in other swing states Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada And the North Carolina.

According to election data from Clayton County in Georgia, which was part of the Congressional District of late civil rights icon John Lewis, Biden added 1,602 votes and Mr Trump 223, making Biden significantly lead statewide by 917 votes.

The race for the presidency, however, is still very close to the invitation.

CBS News Projects Biden has so far garnered 253 electoral votes – 17 shy of the 270 required to win the presidency. Mr Trump won 213.

Mr Trump spoke on Thursday evening and falsely claimed victory. He also accused his political enemies unfounded of stealing the elections from him.

The president falsely claimed: “If I return the legal votes, I will win easily.” “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us. If you count the late votes, we look at them hard.”
